Mrs Leanne Cahill

SENDco Lead Teacher ~ Key Stage 2

I’m Leanne and I am the Base Lead at Oceans SRB, as well as being the teacher for the KS2 class. I have worked as a teacher for over 20 years and I enjoy supporting children and their families, by helping to improve their mental health and wellbeing. It is very fulfilling to see children return successfully to their mainstream schools.

At home, I have 2 children of my own, a dog called Billy and two rabbits. At the weekends I love to take my dog for long walks across the fields, and I watch as much football as I can! I also enjoy reading, and anything involving singing and dancing!

Mrs Sarah Pitt

Lead Teacher ~ Key Stage 1

Hi, I am the KS1 teacher at Oceans SRB. I have been a teacher for just over 14 years and have been fortunate to teach across all key-stages within mainstream and specialist education. I believe for a successful placement it is vital that children feel safe, secure and supported within the classroom. Myself and my amazing class team will ensure all learning is personalized and differentiated to meet the educational and socioemotional needs of each child.

Outside of school I like to spend days on the beach with my family exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline or visiting our local park. I love watching live sports, my favorite sports being cricket and football. I also love to read and crochet.

My name is Helen and I am the HLTA at Oceans.

I have enjoyed working in education for twenty years, both in mainstream schools and alternative settings.   I like PE, gardening, being outside, cooking and baking and playing with messy stuff.  I have two grown up children and a Labrador called Pixie. In my free time, I enjoy DIY and long walks.  Oceans is a great place to have fun and learn for both adults and children.  It’s in a lovely setting and provides the opportunity for children to relax and feel safe to express themselves.
